GEMPAR!!!

Baru beberapa minggu yang lepas, Mazlan Aliman terpaksa bayar seorang pengurus FELDA sebab tersalah fitnah... kalau FELCRA pula heret dia, macam mana agaknya Mazlan Aliman?

Heidi Vogel in Malaysia

Landing in Kuala Lumpur at sunrise, my heart filled with excitement as I looked out to see the water and the lush land below. The great many facets of Malaysia induced much curiousity, wonder and emotion. An announcement in flight, of a warning of The Capitol Punishment for drug traffickers, prompted me to have a look in my bags and pockets to be sure I hadn't been used en route. Also a final scare in the line to immigration, wondering if the stamp in my passport, showing that I had once visited Israel, would prohibit my entry, as I know, holders of Israeli passports, may not enter. I was entering a new world. The train to KL Sentral - 35 Ringet (about £6) was a very modern, comfortable express train, 30 minutes to the centre of KL. The train ride was beautiful, getting a feel of the land itself there, being Jungle. Immense green. Having grown up in the U.K with a best friend who is half Malay and half English, I have heard many wonderful tales of Malaysia and my friends love of the cultural mix, the land, her passion for the political and religious issues and the FOOD. Years of expectations and imaginings, made me feel a little at home My friend Joanna, met me at KL sentral. She is a well known TV personality and theatre actress now in Malaysia, being of mixed origin, Malay and white and very talented has been a working combination. We drove to a small suburban area of KL and she told me of her new travel show she has presented for the BBC, heading deep into the jungles of Malaysia to discover its land, natural resources, the dangers to the environment from logging and lost rainforest and the lives of the indigenous people. We arrived at her beautiful family home, where I was thrilled to hear birds singing in a very unusual way, these were exotic birds of yellow and other colours and unlike birds I had heard or seen before, the trees in her garden, the jungle trail near her home, all wonderful for the senses. My first meal on a banana leaf also kick started the pleasures of my Malaysian experience. "why are you talking to the waiters in Malay?" I asked Joanna. Because they are newly arrived from India, they don't speak English. Her being so fluent in Malay in her adult years spent in Malaysia, was beautiful to me. Over my next days, we prepared for my concert. Joanna also wanted to take me to meet several of her friends. She prepared me; " I want you to meet my Malaysian friends, many of them are mixed like myself, we tend to gravitate toward each other" . As we sat down at a Lovely western style cafe, we ordered English tea and scones. Her friends arrived. "What mix is he?" she asked pointing to one of her close friends. I looked closely at his face, all eyes on me, afraid to get it wrong. I stared at him some more, "Chinese and white" I said. They all smiled, "well done". They sat and talked about the racial and religious dynamics of Malaysian society, as we sat with Chinese, Indian, Malay and all mixes of their "rainbow" society. The accents-American, British, Malay, threw me a bit. My show would be at a well known Jazz Club in Kuala Lumpur. Playing Jazz with Malaysian musicians was a new experience as we rehearsed they were warm and loving toward me and extremely supportive. During rehearsal Joanna brought me Lime water with syrup to drink from a plastic bag with a straw, refreshing! Before the concert, we ate at an indian street cafe. My brother and his girlfriend joined us before the show. His girlfriend is an indonesian Malaysian. We have family ties to Malaysia. My half brother himself being of Indian Singaporian origin. And we have a new baby half sister, her mother being of Indian Malaysian origin. As we all met there in KL, I started to feel as if I was "coming home to my roots". Strange as I am from a different part of the world completely. Listening to my brother get by in Malay, was very charming also. He had taken me to eat Durian on the street (a very smelly Malaysian fruit, whose texture is gooey and almost dairy-like) and for a foot massage for which his girlfriend haggled the price down. Shopping in Malls and on the street, chinese dresses, indian saris. In the evening I received a very warm reception from a lovely audience in KL, all passionate about Jazz and the music that I love. I was joined for the show, by a well know Brazilian percussionist, who happened to be in town. The audience loved hearing this music on Malaysian soil, the Percussionist played a 6/8 african groove on Djembe for an intro to "Afro Blue" and as I sang the first lyric "dream of a land, my soul is from", I felt the audience felt what I was feeling. In my moment to speak, I thanked the audience, Joanna and my brother and family for being there as I expressed my story there "I feel as if I have come home".

KUNYIT HANGIT!

Malulah PAS kalau PAS bersetuju.

Tak lama lepas tu, Fadhil Nor pun mati selepas dia melihat sendiri bukti, tanpa Anwar, Malaysia aman damai!

Aku sikit pun tak heran bila Husam Musa kata PAS tentang biometrik.

nightclub girl condemns practice of unannounced Aedes mosquito fogging

“Hey, there’s a mosquito in the room!” said Hussein, brushing the air with his hand several times. “Let’s change karaoke room.”

“Sorry, I think all VIP rooms are fully booked,” said GRO Wati. ”I’ll get the bar captain to spray some insecticide here; in the meantime, let’s go out and sit at the bar counter for a few minutes. When the smell of the insecticide goes away, we’ll come back.”

Hussein, Chow Kah, Wati, Jessica and I trooped out of the room-of-pleasure. Sheathed in a skin-tight evening gown; her long hair swooped up into a bun at the back of her head, PR-savvy Mamasan Lulu was the perfect hostess. “I’m so sorry your karaoke session was interrupted.” She escorted us to the bar counter in the hall. “As a gesture of apology, tonight, I’ll give you a complimentary serving of fresh fruits. That’s the kind of service Hot Legs Karaoke & Nightclub offer to maintain our reputation.”

Chow Kah stared at the rows of hard liquor on the glass shelves behind the bar counter: Bombay Sapphire Gin from London; Beefeater Dry Gin from London; Absolut Vodka from Switzerland; 42 Below Vodka from New Zealand; Sky Vodka from USA; Martell Cordon Bleu from France; Singleton 12 Years Old Single Malt from Scotland; Remy Martin VSOP from France; Jack Daniel’s Whisky from USA; Glenmorangie 10 Years Old from Scotland, ad infinitum. “Guys, later, we should order a bottle of Sky Vodka; then our blood will be full of alcohol. When a mosquito bites any one of us, it will be drunk and can’t fly; that’s when we whack it.”

“I think this is the breeding season for mosquitoes,” said Jessica, climbing atop a bar stool. She adjusted her bra strap and placed her elbows on the counter. “Water melon juice, please,” she said to the bartender.

Wati sat upright on the bar stool, crossed her slender legs that ended in six-inch stiletto hells. “You’re right, Jess; yesterday, there was a fogging campaign in my housing area; those idiots did it unannounced; some more, in the evening at around 7pm.”

“A hilarious episode happened in my back-neighbour’s home. While I was washing plates in the kitchen, I heard a loud NGGGGGG... NGGGGGG... NGGGGGG... I looked out of the window; a masked guy was at a far end of the back lane. He was holding a fogging machine and discharging white fumes left and right, into drains and into plants and scrubs in people’s backyards; in fact, everywhere.

“My neighbour’s kitchen windows were open; so was their back door. I saw her pembantu rumah [Indonesian maid] rushing into the kitchen. Her bouncing breasts were draped in a batik sarung hastily tied together at two ends; water was dripping from her hair and body. She snatched several filled plates from the dining table and shoved them into a food cabinet.

“Then my neighbour, Kak Rose came scrambling down the stairs -- clad only in her brassiere and polka-dot panty! Kak Rose gathered all the vegetables in the kitchen sink and put them in the fridge.

“Wait, there’s more! Kak Rose's husband scampered down the stairs two steps at a time. Only a cotton towel wrapped his lower torso; I noticed that it was distended! Eeeeeek! He was having an erection! He slammed the kitchen door shut and closed all the kitchen windows to prevent the fogging fumes from entering the house. Everything happened so fast.”

To the romantic tinkling of piped-in piano music, Jessica quivered in muted chortle as if in orgasm; Chow Kah almost doubled up; Hussein’s eyes welled tears; my funny bones ached: we all held back our laughter as other patrons were in the hall, cuddling their hostesses and whispering sweet nothings.

“Next day, I asked the pembantu rumah [maid] why everyone was half-naked," continued Wati. "She explained she had just bathed, and was naked while washing clothes in the bathroom when she heard the drone of the fogging machines. Frozen fish and beef were lying on the table, waiting to be thawed. Vegetables were being soaked in the sink. Those fumes can be dangerous to our health, according to the maid.

“The maid elaborated: ‘My poor boss and his wife were upstairs. Mereka dalam tengah-tengah berhubungan seks! [They were in the midst of having sex!]. That’s why they had rushed down telanjang setengah [half-nude]’ ”

“I read somewhere on the Internet that those fogging fumes consist of a compound called pyrethrin that is mixed with either oil or water,” said Chow Kah. “Although the compound is supposed to be relatively safe for humans, it can cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, nasal congestion, chest pain and difficulty in breathing. Contact with the skin can cause irritation, itching and blistering. It all depends on the person’s sensitivity.”

“Those barua [stooges] should first inform the residents the time of fogging so that we can keep our food safely,” condemned Wati. “Who knows? Consuming food contaminated with those fumes may even cause cancer, huh?”

Jessica said in jest: “Look on the bright side, Wati; tonight when your neighbour has sex with his wife, they won’t be bitten by the Aedes mosquito!” She cocked her head to acknowledge a gesture from Mamasan Lulu at the other end of the hall. “Gentlemen, I think your room is ready; Mummy just gave me a thumb-up sign; come, let’s go back.

Former Argentine Dictator Gets Life in Prison [-This should serve as a lesson to the current dictator in Phnom Penh!]

The Wall Street Journal

BUENOS AIRES—Former Argentine dictator Jorge Rafael Videla, on trial for the first time since the country's Supreme Court rescinded his amnesty, was sentenced to life in prison by a federal court for the murder of 31 political prisoners in 1976.

Mr. Videla ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1981 and presided over the so-called Dirty War in which at least 10,000 people suspected of working against the regime, and perhaps as many as 30,000, were "disappeared" and killed, according to historians and human-rights groups.

After the country returned to democracy, Mr. Videla was sentenced in a landmark 1985 trial to life in prison for abuses committed during his rule. He served five years before he and other figures from the dictatorship were pardoned by President Carlos Menem, who said he was trying to close the book on a divisive era in Argentine history. The Supreme Court struck down the pardons in 2007, paving the way for new cases to be brought against officials from the dictatorship.

Wednesday's sentence was the culmination of a six-month trial in the city of Cordoba revolving around the case of 31 prisoners suspected of opposing the regime, who were rousted from their cells and executed following the coup that brought Mr. Videla to power. A three-judge panel issued the sentence, which it specified should be served in a common prison facility, as opposed to in a military jail or under house arrest.

Mr. Videla, 85 years old, sometimes appeared to doze off during the trial. He was defiant when he did speak.

"I don't speak of 'Dirty War,' I prefer to speak of 'just war,' " he said on Tuesday, asserting that his government had implemented a legitimate defense strategy against leftist guerrilla groups.

He took thinly veiled swipes at the government of President Cristina Kirchner, who has acted aggressively to bring former officials of the dictatorship to justice. "The enemies of yesterday achieved their goal and govern the country and they try to set themselves up as champions of human rights," Mr. Videla said.

Convicted along with Mr. Videla were 29 other security officials from the dictatorship, including former Gen. Luciano Benjamin Menendez, who headed anti-guerrilla operations in a large section of the country.

If you're wondering how an typical Malaysian girl are looked like, she is a good sample for you to look at. Of course, this kind of body and look are better than the average females in Malaysia.
